We have led the way in providing high quality scrap removal systems for our customers in a variety of industries, all over the world, for their manufacturing facilities. Our principal owners have over 50 years combined experience in design fabrication and installation of Dust and Paper Scrap Handling Systems.

At Paper and Dust Pros, Inc. and Baler Service Company, Inc., we work closely with our customers to deliver a customized system their specific needs, delivery anticipation, and budget expectations. We offer state-of-the-art scrap handling equipment, in-house and off-site service capabilities. All Maintenance and System Installation are performed by experienced, factory trained technicians.

John Prouty, President of Paper and Dust Pros, believes the system manufacturer should play a critical role in educating the customer on the ins and outs of the NFPA standards. “I have been in this business for almost 30 year, and have only seen one fire in a dust collector due to the fact that someone sent a small piece of metal through the system. But, in the unlikely event that there is an explosion or fire, protecting your equipment and personnel are the most important things.

“Not all system installations require all of the equipment that is available. Talk with you insurance carrier or local fire inspector to get their opinion,” he adds. “always get at least two bids on the project, discuss the options with both vendors and make sure that you are looking at apples-to-apples bids. Have them rebid to make sure all items are covered.”
